RV Customized as a Traveling Office

Sisters, Oregon

Rig in front of two of the Three Sisters mountains.

Near Sisters/Bend KOA

Kay and I (Tom) selected this rig and had it custom built for full time RV'ing with computers, Internet, and cats. We fulltimed for three and a half years, but have now moved into a house. The RV is now a part time toy.

I had originally put this site together as part of my effort to sell the rig. The rig was on the market for several months. There was a failed deal, and many inquiries that went nowhere. At each step I found myself happy that we still had the rig, though I would rather not have the payments.

At the end of March, 2008, I towed from Brookings, Oregon, to Grants Pass and back again when I got the satellite Internet system repaired. It was my first solo tow, and I enjoyed it. Kay and I had already been talking about short local trips that might be fun. I keep thinking up projects I'd like to do on the rig.

With the economy, credit crunch, and fuel prices, it is a bad time to try to sell a large RV rig. Besides, we put a lot of work into getting it just the way we want it, and in maintaining the rig. I would not want to have to start over again when the travel bug bites.
